Remember those cut-out-and-build paper toys? Or those beautiful, lithographed tin toys and army men? They were great! Simple in construction, but big on imagination, these toys could be found as cut-outs on the backs of cereal boxes, in punch-out books, dug out of a candy box as a “Toy Surprise Inside!” premium or gleaming on the toy shelves at your local department store. Here at TinPaper, we try to recapture the flavor of these fun toys by combining the best of both worlds —paper and tin litho —with boilerplate graphics, simplicity of construction, and maximum playability in a small package.
